Sweden‘s journey to a feminist foreign policy

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá švédskou feministickou zahraniční politikou v období 2014-2018. V první části práce je definován pojem zahraniční politika společně s dalšími vybranými teoretickými koncepty souvisejícími se švédskou zahraniční politikou. Druhá část práce představuje klíčové dlouhodobé charakteristiky švédské zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky a jak tyto souvisí s feministickou zahraniční politikou. V závěru dochází k propojení teoretické a analytické části, shrnutí práce a zodpovězení výzkumných otázek.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the Swedish feminist foreign policy during the period between 2014-2018. First, the concept of foreign policy together with other relevant theoretical terms are introduced. The second part of the thesis describes the most important long-term characteristics in Swedish foreign and security policy. This part also analyzes how these long-term characteristics are related to the feminist foreign policy. The thesis concludes with connecting the theoretical and analytical parts and with answering the research questions.
