Company strategic analysis

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Strategická analýza podniku“ je komplexní strategická analýza vybraného podniku – RAPA, s.r.o. Cílem práce je na základě provedené strategické analýzy definovat konkurenční výhodu podniku a navrhnout možnou strategii podniku včetně konkrétních doporučení do budoucna. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice strategického řízení podniku a nástrojům strategické analýzy. V praktické části jsou aplikovány poznatky z teoretické části a je provedena analýza vnějšího prostředí prostřednictvím PESTE analýzy a Porterovy analýzy pěti sil a analýza vnitřního prostředí včetně trendové finanční analýzy. Výsledky těchto analýz ve formě silných a slabých stránek podniku a příležitostí a hrozeb jsou zhodnoceny ve SWOT analýze a je vytvořena SWOT matice, na základě které jsou navrženy možné strategie podniku a jistá doporučení.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis "Company strategic analysis" is a complex strategic analysis of the selected company – RAPA, Ltd. The aim of the thesis is to define the competitive advantage of the company on the basis of the strategic analysis and propose a possible strategy of the company including specific recommendations for the future. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with strategic management and strategic analysis tools. In the practical part, the knowledge from the theoretical part is applied and an analysis of the external environment is carried out by means of PESTE analysis and Porter's five forces model and an analysis of the internal environment including trend financial analysis. The results of these analyses in the form of strengths and weaknesses of the company and opportunities and threats are evaluated in the SWOT analysis and a SWOT matrix is created, on the basis of which possible company strategies and certain recommendations are proposed.
