Abstract:

Výstavy a symposia „Hi-Tech/Umění“ v Brně v letech 1992 - 1997 v kontextu výstav umění nových médií v České republice Magisterská práce mapuje cyklus výstav a symposií „Hi-Tech/Umění“ probíhajících v letech 1992 až 1997 v Brně a charakter presentací mediálního umění na území postkomunistického Česka v letech 1989 až 1997. Autorka představuje cyklus brněnských výstav na základě rozboru jednotlivých ročníků a porovnává s dalšími dobovými aktivitami uměleckých institucí a škol. Cyklus je poměřován zejména výstavami Orbis Fictus, Český obraz elektronický a Jitro Kouzelníků a dále dílčími aktivitami Sekce Video ČSVU, Media archivu a Goethe institutu. Analýzy presentací autorka zařazuje do širšího teoretického rámce presentování mediálního umění, slabých a silných stánek akcí a přínosu pro obor.

Abstract:

Exhibitions and Symposiums "Hi-Tech/Art" in Brno in the years 1992 - 1997 in the context of new media art exhibitions in the Czech Republic. Master's work presents the series of exhibitions and symposiums "Hi-Tech/Art" ("Hi-Tech/Umění") running from 1992 to 1997 in Brno and the nature of presentation of media arts at the post-communist Czech territory between 1989 and 1997. The authors present a series of exhibitions in Brno based on analysis of each year and compares with other activities of contemporary art institutions and schools. The cycle is measured mainly „Orbis Fictus“, the „Czech Images and Electronic“ (Český obraz elektronický), „Morning Wizards“ (Jitro Kouzelníků) and sub-activities section „ČSVU Video“, „Media Archive“ and the Goethe Institute. Analysis of author presentations added to the broader theoretical framework presented media art, stand strong and weak events and benefits for the field.
