Abstract:

Disertační práce Využití počítačových her jako didaktického nástroje na základní škole se zabývá využíváním digitálních her v kontextu vzdělávání na českých základních školách. Práce se zaměřuje primárně na hloubkové popsání edukačního prostředí a jeho vztahu k využívání tohoto média aktéry vzdělávání. Analýza odborné literatury přinesla zjištění, jak moc doširoka jsou v odborné literatuře a výzkumu rozevřeny nůžky mezi světovým a českým pedagogickým výzkumem v této oblasti. Hlavním cílem této disertační práce bylo tedy zjistit, jaký výukový potenciál mají digitální hry ve výuce na základní škole, jak (a zda vůbec) jsou učiteli používány. Cílem bylo rovněž zjistit dopady na výuku při využití digitálních her a bariéry, které učitelé nebo žáci u her vnímají. K hlavním cílům patří také zjištění týkající se náhledu žáků na dopad digitálních her zapojených do výuky. Vedlejším cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak se na tuto problematiku dívají učitelé, kteří s hrami ve výuce nemají žádnou zkušenost. Vedlejším cílem bylo rovněž zjistit jaký vliv na problematiku digitálních her ve školách má současná ICT vybavenost škol a jaké hry učitelé pro svoji výuku volí. Výzkumné studie byly realizovány jak kvantitativně, tak kvalitativně, a to jak mezi učiteli základních škol, tak i mezi žáky. Ukázalo se, že digitální hry ve vzdělávacím prostředí využívané jsou. Nejedná se o vyloženě raritní nebo marginální problematiku, ani o věc využívanou exkluzivně jen v jednom předmětu. Digitální hry nabízejí paletu využití v různých předmětech a různých ročnících. Ukázalo se, že pro učitele není velký problém nekázeň žáků nebo nesouhlas rodičů, ale především nedostatek času, střety s konzervativními kolegy či vedením. Jde také o velký nedostatek informací, metodických podkladů nebo návrhů do výuky a samozřejmě celkově špatný stav ICT na školách. Ten je způsoben špatným financováním samotných zařízení, a také nedostatečným zajištěním technické podpory. Na stranu druhou se učitelé shodují na tom, že hry vynikají svojí názorností, podporují kreativitu žáků a dokáží kvalitně demonstrovat složitě vysvětlitelné problémy. Vystupujícím zjištěním byl pak dopad na motivaci žáků jak z krátkodobého hlediska, tak v dlouhodobém horizontu. Tento fenomén je potřeba nadále sledovat a podrobit samostatnému zkoumání. Výsledky zkoumání mezi učiteli (což je i převládající forma výzkumu ve světové odborné literatuře v rámci DGBL) je zde navíc podpořeno výzkumem i přímo mezi žáky. Tito se, nezávisle na učitelích, shodují v některých hodnoceních her ve výuce. Především v tom, jak hry rozvíjejí jejich fantazii, vnímají je jako motivační element a pomáhají jim vizualizovat probíranou látku nebo téma. Ukázalo se však, že žáci sami o sobě nevyhledávají potencionálně vzdělávací hry sami o sobě bez toho, aniž by s nimi pracovali ve škole. Zjistili jsme, že rodiče 117s hrami jako s prvkem rozšiřujícím vzdělávání dětí pracují jen málo. Ostatně malá dostupnost informací o využívání her ke vzdělávání byla patrná již z výzkumů mezi učiteli. Tyto výsledky pak nejen podporují zjištění získaná od učitelů, ale rozšiřují celý kontext využívání her o toho nejdůležitějšího aktéra – žáka.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis Use of computer games as a didactic tool in primary school deals with the use of digital games in the context of education in Czech primary schools. The work focuses primarily on an in-depth description of the educational environment and its relationship to the use of this medium by educational actors. The analysis of the professional literature revealed how widely the scissors between world and Czech pedagogical research in this field are open in the professional literature and research. The main goal of this dissertation was to find out what teaching potential digital games have in primary school teaching, how (and if at all) they are used by teachers. The aim was also to identify the impact on teaching of digital games and the barriers and problems that teachers or pupils perceive in games. The main objectives also include findings on pupils' insights into the impact of digital games involved in teaching. The secondary goal of the work was to find out how teachers look at this issue, who have no experience with games in teaching, what influence the current ICT equipment of schools has on the issue of digital games in schools or also what games teachers choose for their teaching. The research studies were carried out both quantitatively and qualitatively, both among primary school teachers and among pupils. It turned out that digital games are used in the educational environment and that this is not a purely rare or marginal issue or a thing used exclusively in one subject, but that digital games are offered a variety of uses in different subjects and different grades. It turned out that for teachers is not such a big problem of discipline of students or problems of parental disagreement, but especially lack of time, clash with conservative colleagues and also a great lack of information, methodological materials or suggestions for teaching and of course the overall poor state of ICT in schools, both in terms of financing the facilities themselves and in terms of providing technical support. On the other hand, teachers agree that games excel in their clarity, support pupils' creativity and are able to demonstrate difficult-to-explain problems. The emerging finding was the impact on pupils' motivation both in the short term and in the long term. This phenomenon needs to be further monitored and examined separately. The results of research among teachers (which is also the predominant form of research in the world literature) is also supported by research directly among students. These, independently of the teachers, agree in some evaluations of games in teaching. Especially in how the games used for teaching develop their imagination, they perceive them as a motivating element and help them visualize the subject or topic being discussed. However, it turned out that pupils themselves do not look for potentially educational games on their own without working with 119them at school, and that parents work little with games as an element that expands children's education. After all, the low availability of information on the use of games for education has already been evident from research among teachers. These results then not only support the findings obtained from teachers, but expand the whole context of the use of games by the most important actor - the student.
