Importance and use of mounted police within the components of the integrated rescue system

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat význam a využití jízdní policie v reálných situacích. Služební hipologie, jak také lze jinak nazvat jízdní policii, znamená využití služebních koní u jízdní policie. V úvodu se práce zabývá problematikou historie složek IZS a popisuje legislativu související s tématem. Dále se práce soustředí zejména na jízdní policii sloužící u Policie České republiky. Důraz je zde kladen na správný výběr a výcvik koní, který je odlišný od výcviku koně využívaného pro sportovní či rekreační účely. V praktické časti jsou sledovány silné a slabé stránky jízdní policie pomocí SWOT analýzy, ze které je vytvořena matice, která poukazuje na všechny sledované segmenty. Použita je také analýza vnějšího prostředí, která sleduje politické, ekonomické, sociální, technologické či další možné faktory. Na závěr práce popsuje využití jízdní policie také jako reprezentativní prvek při účasti na hromadných akcích či čas mimo výkon služby, jako je výcvik, přeprava či účast na soutěžích.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis aims to describe the importance and use of mounted police in real-life situations. Service hipology, as mounted police might otherwise be called, means the use of service horses in mounted police. In the introduction, the thesis deals with the history of the IRS files and describes legislation related to the topic. Furthermore, the work focuses mainly on the mounted police serving with the Police of the Czech Republic. The emphasis here is on the correct selection and training of horses, which is different from the training of a horse used for sports or recreational purposes. In practical terms, the strengths and weaknesses of the mounted police are monitored using the SWOT analysis, which produces a matrix that points to all segments of interest. An analysis of the external environment that tracks political, economic, social, technological or other possible factors is also used. At the end of the work, the use of mounted police is also a representative element when participating in mass events or time outside the performance of a service, such as training, transportation or participation in a contest.
