Integration of Children with Special Educational Needs

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou školské integrace dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Cílem práce je charakterizovat problematiku školské integrace dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami do mateřských škol a zjistit význam asistenta pedagoga pro školskou integraci. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část se mj. věnuje integraci a inkluzi ve školním prostředí, dále se zmiňuje o předškolním vzdělávání dětí intaktních, ale také dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a na závěr o asistenčních službách využívaných v rámci školské integrace. Empirická část je věnována interpretaci a vyhodnocení dat získaných dotazníkovým šetřením v mateřských školách různého typu z hlediska integrace. Přínosem práce je zjištění významu funkce asistenta pedagoga v jednotlivých předškolních zařízeních.

Abstract:

My bachelor's paper focuses on the school integration of children with special educational needs. The aim of the work is to characterize the issue of integration of children with special educational needs into nursery schools and identify the importance of teacher's assistant to help such integration. The paper has two parts. The theoretical part deals, among other issues, with integration and inclusion into school environment, makes a note of pre-school education of intact children as well as children with special learning needs and, in conclusion, with classroom assistant services used to help school integration. The empiric part addresses interpretation and evaluation of data collected through surveys focused on integration carried out in different types of nursery schools. The benefit of the paper is getting a proof of the importance of teachers' assistants in pre-school establishments.
