Toponyms of the village of Jistebník (the Nový Jičín district)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá toponymií obce Jistebník a rybničními jmény na území města Studénka a ostravské městské části Polanka nad Odrou. Stěžejní část práce tvoří slovník standardizovaných toponym (vyznačených na mapách), excerpovaných ze současné topografické mapy, a živých (neoficiálních) toponym na území obce Jistebník, získaných výzkumem mezi obyvateli obce, jejichž součástí jsou také sociální toponyma zaměstnanců rybářství a členů mysliveckého spolku. V závěru práce jsou toponyma analyzována v místním zpravodaji a je představena jazyková krajina obce Jistebník.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the toponymy of the village Jistebník and pond names in the territory of Studénka and the Ostrava district of Polanka nad Odrou. The main part of the thesis consists of a dictionary of standardized toponyms (marked on maps), excerpted from the current topographic map, and unstandardized (unofficial) toponyms in the territory of Jistebník, obtained by research among the inhabitants of the village, which also includes social toponyms of fishermen and members of the hunting association. At the end of the thesis, the toponyms are analysed in the local newsletter and the linguistic landscape of Jistebník is presented.
