The Universal Expositions of Paris until 1900
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is dedicated to five Universal Expositions, that took place in Paris from 1855 to 1900, and to their constructions built for the use of the exhibitions and fairs. The aim of the thesis is to introduce not only the palaces and pavilions constructed during those Expositions, but also the architectural sights left after the events and remaining until the present day.Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce je věnována stavbách pěti světovým výstavám, které se konaly v Paříži od roku 1855 do roku 1900, se zaměřením na vybudované stavby sloužící k vystavování či jiným účelům. Práce si klade za cíl představit nejen paláce a pavilony postavené během světových výstav, ale také architektonické památky, které po těchto výstavách můžeme v současnosti nalézt.
