Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou sociálního začleňování lidí propuštěných po vykonání nepodmíněného trestu odnětí svobody ve vybraném regionu České republiky. Za cíl si klade odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku v tomto znění: „Které charakteristiky institucionální podpory ve vybraném regionu České republiky a jak pomáhají a které a jak nepomáhají sociální inkluzi lidem po výkonu trestu odnětí svobody?“ Teoretická část práce představuje koncepty, které se v první kapitole zabývají zejména problematikou sociální exkluze a sociální inkluze a ve druhé charakteristikami institucionální podpory, které ovlivňují sociální inkluzi lidí po výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. V konceptuálně důležité části specificky zaměřené druhé kapitoly je vycházeno převážně ze zahraniční literatury. Důvodem je absence důkladného teoretického zpracování působení charakteristik institucionální podpory na inkluzivní změnu lidí po výkonu trestu v domácích odborných pramenech. Druhá kapitola obsahuje také původní teoretické zpracování charakteristik postpenitenciární péče v České republice. Z teoretických konceptů jsou vyvozeny předpoklady o působení institucionální podpory inkluze a na jejich základě jsou formulovány dílčí výzkumné otázky. Metodou zkoumání byla zvolena biografická metoda kvalitativního výzkumu a technikami sběru dat narativní rozhovory, polostrukturované rozhovory a studium dokumentů. Pro volbu metody bylo určujícím hlediskem její vhodnost pro sledování, jak se z pohledu lidí po výkonu trestu odnětí svobody v jejich životě vyvíjely interakce s institucionální podporou inkluze a rovněž jak tyto interakce působily na jejich sociální inkluzi. Závěry práce přinášejí originální výsledky, které odpovídají na hlavní výzkumnou otázku a také doporučení pro zlepšení praxe v oblasti sociální inkluze lidí po výkonu trestu odnětí svobody.

Abstract:

The dissertation deals with the issue of social inclusion of people released after the execution of unconditional imprisonment in a selected region of the Czech Republic. The objective is to answer the main research question which is as follows: "What are the characteristics of the institutional support in the selected region of the Czech Republic and how they help and which and how they do not help social inclusion of the people after imprisonment?" The theoretical part introduces concepts, which, in the first chapter, deal with particular issues of social exclusion and social inclusion and, in the second chapter, with the characteristics of the institutional support that affect social inclusion of people after imprisonment. The conceptually important part of the specifically focused second chapter is mainly sourced from foreign literature. The reason is the absence of thorough theoretical elaboration in the domestic professional sources relating to the effects of the characteristics of the institutional support on an inclusive change of people after imprisonment. The second chapter also contains the original theoretical elaboration of the characteristics of the postpenitentiary care in the Czech Republic. Assumptions about the effects of the institutional support of inclusion are inferred from the theoretical concepts and, on their basis, the partial research questions are formulated. The research method selected was the biographical method of qualitative research and the data collection techniques included narrative interviews, semi-structured interviews and study of documents. The most decisive aspect for selecting this method was its suitability for monitoring how, from the perspective of people after imprisonment, the interactions with the institutional support of inclusion developed in their lives, and also how these interactions acted upon their social inclusion. The conclusions of the dissertation provide genuine results that answer the main research question as well as recommendations for improving the practice in the area of social inclusion of people after imprisonment.
