Problems with employing Bulgarians through employment agencies in Pilsen

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jaké problémy mají bulharští občané při získávání zaměstnání prostřednictvím pracovních agentur. Dále bylo zjišťováno, jaký byl průběh jejich adaptace na území České republiky a zda poskytování sociálních služeb výše uvedenou organizací odpovídalo jejich potřebám. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny důvody migrace a počet bulharských občanů v České republice, konkrétně v Plzeňském kraji. Dále je vysvětlena pobytová problematika, která je nezbytnou součástí práce s cizinci. Následně jsou vysvětleny možnosti zaměstnávání cizinců z EU na území ČR a problémy vznikající v praxi při zaměstnávání cizinců prostřednictvím agentur práce. Jako poslední bod teoretické části jsou popsány neziskové organizace, které se zaměřují na cílovou skupinu cizinců a uprchlíků se sídlem v Plzni. Praktická část obsahuje otázky zaměstnávání v agenturách práce a integrace cizinců do majoritní společnosti prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu, který je prováděn formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s respondenty (klienty a sociálními pracovníky). Výsledkem je analýza zmíněných problémů a srovnání, zda nabízené služby odpovídají potřebám klientů.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to find out what problems Bulgarian citizens had in getting a job through employment agencies. Furthermore, it was investigated what was their course of adaptation to the territory of the Czech Republic and whether the provision of social services by the above-mentioned organization corresponded to their needs. In the theoretical part, the reasons for migration and the number of Bulgarian citizens in the Czech Republic, and specifically in the Pilsen region, are presented. It also explains residence issues, which are an essential part of working with foreigners. Subsequently, the possibility of employing EU foreigners on the territory of the Czech Republic and the problems arising in practice when foreigners are employed through employment agencies are explained. As the last point of the theoretical part, the non-profit organizations that focus on the target group of foreigners and refugees, based in Pilsen, are described. The practical part contains questions of employment in employment agencies and integration of foreigners into the mainstream society through qualitative research, which is conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with respondents (clients and social workers). The result is an analysis of the problems mentioned and a comparison of whether the services offered meet the needs of the clients.
