Abstract:

Diplomová práce Univerzální databáze jako jednotný přístup k informačním fondům Etnologického ústavu AV ČR, pracoviště v Brně se zabývá problematikou přístupu k dokumentačním sbírkám Etnologického ústavu AV ČR, pracoviště v Brně. Pojednává nejen o stoleté historii této instituce, jejích proměnách a o jejím růstu, ale především o rozšiřování jejích dokumentačních sbírek. Cílem práce je poukázat na rozmanitost těchto sbírek a na nové možnosti jak zpracovat a tudíž i lépe zpřístupnit tyto sbírky za pomoci moderních technologických prostředků. Je zde představena právě vznikající Univerzální databáze dokumentačních sbírek a také metodika, ze které se vycházelo při jejím budování. Dále jsou tu navrženy prostředky pro výměnu informací a interoperabilitu této databáze s jinými zdroji informací o kulturním dědictví. V této části práce je popsán muzejnický standard CIDOC CRM (Conceptual reference model), který představuje možnost pro aplikaci na databázi. Závěr práce tvoří návrh směrnice k tvorbě a správě digitální dokumentace pro Etnologický ústav AV ČR, pobočku Brno. Tato směrnice vychází z obecného materiálu Digitální dokumentace objektů kulturní, historické a vědecké hodnoty, vytvořeného v Metodickém centru pro informační technologie v muzejnictví (CITeM).

Abstract:

Diploma thesis Universal Database as a Unified Access to the Document Collections of Institute of Ethnology of the Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic in Brno deals with the issue of the access to document collections of Institute of Ethnology of the Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic in Brno. It discusses not only the hundred-years history of this institution, its changes and its growth but also the expansion of its documentation collections. The aim of this work is to point out the variety of the collections and the new possibilities for processing the information and using modern technological instruments. This thesis deals with the Universal Database of Document Collections which is being implemented at the moment and also the methodology which originates from it. This thesis furthermore proposes the instruments for information exchange and for interoperability of this database with other cultural legacy information sources. In this part the work describes standard for museums CIDOC CRM (Conceptual Reference Model) which represents the possibility for database application. The thesis concludes with the proposal of the creation and administration directive for Institute of Ethnology of the Academy of Sciences of Czech republic in Brno. This directive comes from the general matter Digital Documentation of the Objects of Cultural, Historical and Scientific Significance,created in Methodological Centre for Information Technologies in Museology (CITeM).
