An annotated translation of selected texts from the field of banking law

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the translation of selected parts of the text from the field of banking law. The theoretical part summarizes the fundamental terms related to the theory of translation, economic terminology, the specifics of the translation of economic and legal texts, basic information about a bank account. The practical part is introduced by the translation of selected articles of the Czech legislation, in particular selected articles of the Civil Code and an Act on Payments, bank account agreement, Bank account closing letter. As a result, a glossary of the relevant terminology was created on the basis of the translation.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na překlad vybraných částí textu z oblasti bankovního práva. V teoretické části jsou shrnuté zásadní pojmy, související s teorií překladu, ekonomickou terminologií, specifikou překladu ekonomických a právních textů, a také základní poznatky o bankovním účtu. Praktická část je představena samotným překladem vybraných článků české legislativy, zejména Občanského zákoníku a Zákonu o platebním styku, smlouvy o bankovním účtu a žádosti o zrušení účtu, na základě čehož byl zároveň vytvořen glosář příslušné terminologie.
