Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou elektronických knih z obecného pohledu. První část je věnována pokusu o definování elektronické knihy na základě knihy tištěné. Další část je zaměřena na popis elektronické knihy s důrazem na její nejvýraznější vlastnosti, funkce, které s sebou přináší a také rizika s ní spojené. The thesis deals with a general perspective of electronic books. The first part is focused on an attempt to define an electronic book on the basis of a printed book.
