Replacement of diesel engine of the railcar Class 860

Abstract:

Cílem této závěrečné práce je zpracovat komplexní pohled na výměnu spalovacího motoru motorového vozu 860 002-5 a přehled navazujících technických problémů. Práce obsahuje řešení vybraných technických úloh souvisejících s remotorizací. Dílo je členěno do pěti kapitol a dvanácti příloh, zabývajících se výběrem vhodného spalovacího motoru, jeho konstrukční zástavbou do spodku motorového vozu i součinností s ostatními zařízeními na vozidle. Dále je řešena otázka výpočtu nových trakčních vlastností vozu a splnění požadavků na akceptování sníženého trakčního výkonu vzhledem k plánovanému nasazení vozidla.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to prepare a comprehensive study on the replacement of the internal combustion engine of a railcar 860 002-5 and related engineering problems. The thesis includes solutions to selected technical tasks associated with replacing of engine. The study is divided into five chapters and twelve attachments dealing with the selection of a suitable combution engine, its design installation to the bottom of the motor vehicle as well as interoperability with other devices in the vehicle. It also addresses the question of calculating of the new traction properties of the railcar and meets the requirements for accepting the reduced traction power due to the intended using of the vehicle.
