High Reliability Organisations: Implications for knowledge management in an organisation

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Vysoce spolehlivé organizace: Implikace pro znalostní management vybrané organizace“ je analyzovat sdílení a tvorbu znalostí ve vybrané organizaci a formulovat doporučení pro další rozvoj znalostního managementu v této organizaci. Teoretická část práce definuje pojmy znalost a znalostní management, dále představuje analytický rámec LIR (Language – Information – Reality) a pět principů, na kterých fungují vysoce spolehlivé organizace (HRO – High Reliability Organizations). V empirické části jsou identifikovány stěžejní oblasti v organizaci, které jsou následně propojeny s LIR rámcem. V závěru práce jsou identifikovány nedostatky v organizaci spolu s formulovanými doporučeními.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: „High Reliability Organisations: Implications for knowledge management in an organisation” is to analyze the sharing and creation of knowledge in the selected organization and formulate recommendations for the further development of the knowledge management in this organization. The theoretical part provides definitions of knowledge and knowledge management, introduces analytical framework LIR (Language - Information - Reality) and explains the five principles, which Highly Reliable Organizations (HRO´s) work on. The core areas within the organization that are subsequently linked to the LIR framework are provide in the empirical part. And then the failures are identified in the end of this thesis together with the formulated recommendations.
