The effects of agri-environmental-climatic measures and drought on the price of hay in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce Dopady Agroenvironmentálně-klimatických opatření a sucha na cenu sena v České republice je věnovaná výpočtu příspěvku na úhradu při výrobě sena z travních porostů, který byl zjišťován z dat získaných od vybraného modelového podniku Ekofarma Lípa u Zlína. Výpočty ukazují, do jaké míry je výroba sena rentabilní bez dotací a s podporou dotací. Ve sledovaném roce 2018, kdy byl výnos nejnižší, byl příspěvek na úhradu bez započítání dotací -1 044,0 Kč/ha a se započítáním dotací vzrostl na 8 492,3 Kč/ha Naopak v roce 2020, kdy byl výnos nejvyšší, byl příspěvek na úhradu bez započítání dotací -497,7 Kč/ha a se započítáním dotací vzrostl na 9 408,2 Kč/ha. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty obecné informace o travních porostech a jejich ekosystémové služby. Dále jsou zmíněny dotační tituly týkající se travních porostů, zejména pak agroenvironmentálně-klimatická opatření. V práci jsou charakterizovány faktory, které působí na cenu sena a následně kalkulace ceny sena a přehled ceny sena v České republice a ve vybraných cizích zemích.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis The effects of agri-environmental-climatic measures and drought on the price of hay in the Czech Republic is focused on contribution margin calculation for hay production from grassland based on data obtained from a model farm Ekofarma Lípa u Zlína. The calculations show an economic rate of profitability of hay production without subsidies and with the support of subsidies as well. In one of the monitored year 2018, in which was the grassland yield the lowest, the contribution margin without subsidies was minus 1 044.0 Kč per hectare and with the counting of subsidies it increased to 8 492.3 Kč per hectare. Compared to year 2020, in which the grassland yield was the highest, the contribution margin without subsidies was minus 497.7 Kč per hectare and with the counting of subsidies it increased to 9 408.2 Kč per hectare. Theoretical part of the thesis represents a recapitulation of available information about grasslands and their ecosystem services, along with the basic information about subsidy programmes aimed at grasslands, with a focus on agri-environmental-climatic measures. The thesis also describes factors which have an impact on the price of hay, as well as the calculation and an overview of the prices in the Czech Republic and several other countries.
