The image of Mozambique during colonial and postcolonial period in the films of Margarida Cardoso
Abstract:
The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyse two selected films of the Portuguese director Margarida Cardoso with emphasis on their historical context. The first part follows the development of cinema in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa and familiarises us with life and career of the director. The second part is dedicated to the analysis of the selected filmworks.
Abstract:
Hlavním cílem této bakalářské diplomové práce je analyzovat dva vybrané filmy portugalské režiserky Margaridy Cardoso s důrazem na historický kontext ke kterému se vážou. První část práce sleduje vývoj kinematografie v Portugalsku a portugalsky mluvících zemích v Africe a seznamuje nás s tvorbou režiserky. Druhá časť je již věnovaná samotné analýze vybraných děl.
