Abstract:
Trend mega lodí představuje současně probíhající dlouhodobý proces navyšování přepravní kapacity lodí, a tudíž stavění stálé větších lodí. Navyšování přepravní kapacity ovlivňuje rovnováhu mezi nabídkou a poptávkou po kapacitě TEU a námořní sazby, a proto jsou přístupy rejdařů k této problematice klíčové. Mega ships trend is a long-term process of the capacity growth of container ships which means building constantly bigger ships. The capacity growth affects balance between supply and demand for TEU capacity, and freight rates and therefore the approach of shipping lines to this problem is crucial.
