Abstract:
Předkládaná práce se zabývá jedním z nejvýznamnějších učenců šestnáctého století, Mikulášem Koperníkem. Jeho dílo výrazně ovlivnilo vývoj astronomie a změnilo pohled na svět. Koperník představil novou astronomickou teorii, která byla založena na skutečnosti, že Slunce je ve středu vesmíru a Země spolu s ostatní planetami se točí kolem něj.
Abstract:
The presented work deals with one of the most important scholars of the sixteenth century, Nicolaus Copernicus. His work greatly influenced the development of astronomy and changed view of the world. Copernicus introduced the new astronomical theory, which was based on the fact that the Sun is at the center of the universe and the Earth together with other planets revolve around it.
