Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá provedením vlastního experimentálního výzkumu z hlediska user experience webových stránek Fakulty managementu Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze. S cílem ověřit, zda je jejich nově přijatý design v souladu s očekáváními, potřebami nebo přáními jedné z klíčových skupin stakeholders, a to studentů fakulty. Zjistit, jaký obsah vzdělávací instituce na svých webových stránkách sdílí a jak ovlivňuje nový design webových stránek jejich úroveň použitelnosti a přehlednosti vedoucí k pozitivní uživatelské zkušenosti. Pomocí individuálních online rozhovorů a eye trackingového měření získat data o výzkumném vzorku respondentů a zpracovat výsledky výzkumné části do podoby odpovědí na výzkumné otázky a seznamu celkem 10 manažerských doporučení. Předložit vedení fakulty, a konkrétně pak správci webových stránek postup, pomocí kterého bude možné upravit současnou verzi webových stránek. A zefektivnit stávající způsob komunikace přes webové stránky se studenty, jako s jednou z klíčových skupin stakeholders vzdělávací instituce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis engages in experimental research that has been carried out in order to give an idea of the Faculty of Management, Prague University of Economics and Business website user experience. The goal of the thesis is to examine whether the new design of the website meets the expectations, needs and wishes of one of the key stakeholder groups, the students of the faculty. It aims at discovering what kind of content is published and shared by the faculty as an educational institution and how the new design affects the level of usability and orderliness of the website that can lead to positive user experience. The research consisted of individual online interviews and eye tracking methods. This way, data about the selected group of respondents was obtained in the research part of the thesis. This data was then processed and transformed into answers to the research questions and a list of 10 management recommendations. These recommendations can be seen as directions for the faculty management, specifically the website administrator, that will help change and improve the present version of the website and make the current way of communicating with the students, one of the key stakeholder groups of the faculty, more efficient.
