Usability evaluation of analog tourist maps based on models

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o hodnocení použitelnosti analogových turistických map založeném na modelu. Nejprve jsou v práci vymezeny základní pojmy spjaté s oborem kartografie, použitelností a jejich testováním. V práci je dále popsáno realizované uživatelské testování a způsob tvorby a aplikování analytického modelu na analogové mapy. V závěrečné části práce je uvedena komparace využitých metod pro hodnocení použitelnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the usability evaluation of analog tourist maps based on models. At first the thesis defines the basic concepts associated with the field of cartography, usability and testing. The thesis further describes accomplished user testing and implemented method of creating and applying analytical model to analog maps. The final section contains a comparison of methods utilized for usability evaluation.
