Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vzťahmi Európskej únie a Slovenskej republiky v prístupovom procese, pričom je dôraz kladený na výskum podmienok, ktoré EÚ v tomto procese stanovovala - kondicionalitu. Princíp kondicionality bol v rámci východného rozšírenia reakciou hlavne na postkomunistický charakter kandidátskych krajín.
