Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem úsporných opatření v regionální železniční osobní dopravě. V analytické části jsou charakterizovány nákladové položky dopravců, vnější prostředí, ve kterém se železniční dopravci pohybují, a je proveden výběr modelových linek, na kterých jsou dále počítány dopady konkrétních úsporných opatření.
