Commented translation of a chapter from Jacques Rupnik's book "Central Europe is like a bird with its eyes at the back of its head" into Russian

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on a commented translation of the chapter entitled "Migrants as Mirror: European contradictions and narratives" from Jacques Rupnik's book "Central Europe is like a bird with its eyes at the back of its head". The aim of this graduation work was to produce an adequate and quality translation of the text. In order to achieve the mentioned goal, we have determined next tasks: a preliminary translation analysis of the original text and its extralinguistic factors, the translation of the text itself, and an analysis and commentary on the translation transformations used. The thesis is written in Russian, as the work was translated from the Czech original into Russian.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na komentovaný překlad kapitoly s názvem "Migranti jako zrcadlo: evropské rozpory a narativy" z knihy Jacquese Rupnika "Střední Evropa je jako pták s očima vzadu". Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit adekvátní a kvalitní překlad zmíněného textu. K dosažení výše uvedeného cíle byly určeny překladatelské úkoly: předběžná překladatelská analýza originálního textu a jeho extralingvistických faktorů, samotný překlad textu, analýza a komentář použitých překladatelských transformací. Práce je psána rusky, jelikož dílo bylo z českého originálu přeloženo do ruštiny.
