Full costing in a public research institution

Abstract:

The subject of the submitted thesis “Full costing in a public research institution” is the question of declaring actual costs in non-profit sector. The theoretical part is dedicated to the theoretical knowledge in this field of managerial accounting, especially to cost calculations. The next part follows with the grant programmes of the European Union and national grant programmes for supporting research and development, which have stimulated the discussion of adopting the full costing method by universities and public research institutions in the last few years. The last part of the thesis includes application of full costing method on the cost structure of a particular public research institution.

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Full costing ve veřejné výzkumné instituci“ je problematika vykazování skutečných nákladů v neziskovém sektoru. Teoretická část je věnována teoretickým poznatkům z této oblasti manažerského účetnictví, především kalkulacím nákladů. Dále navazuje na dotační programy Evropské unie a národní dotační programy pro podporu výzkumu a vývoje, které v posledních letech podnítili diskuzi o zavádění metodiky full costing na vysokých školách a ve veřejných výzkumných institucích. Nakonec je v praktické části uplatněna metodika full costing na struktuře nákladů konkrétní veřejné výzkumné instituce.
