Kant's Philosophy of Religion

Abstract:

Název diplomové práce ?Kantova filosofie náboženství ? radikální zlo?, dává čtenáři poznat dva základní tematické okruhy, kterými se bude zabývat. Jedním z nich je filosofie náboženství prezentovaná v Die Religion innerhalb der Grenzen der blossen Vernunft na obecné úrovni, což zahrnuje také diskusi okolo Religion a nejdůležitější okruhy, které jsou vnímány jako problematické. Druhým, majoritnějším okruhem, je jedna z konkrétních teorií objevujících se v Religion, totiž doktrína radikálního zla. V ní se manifestují všechny sporné otázky, které se ke Kantově filosofii náboženství druží. Ačkoliv jsou tyto dva okruhy úzce propleteny, první lze nalézt hlavně v první kapitole (která je proto obecným exkurzem do této problematiky), kdežto na druhý jsou zaměřeny kapitoly zbylé ? kapitola terminologická, kapitola kritická a kapitola revidující. Na vymezeném prostoru se tato práce snaží být relevantním příspěvkem do diskuse, dodnes stále živé.

Abstract:

The name of master's thesis, ?Kant's philosophy of religion ? radical evil?, implies two thematic units that are being discussed in it. One of units is dedicated to philosophy of religion on a general level as presented in Die Religion innerhalb der Grezen der blossen Vernuft. It incorporates discussion on Religion and the most important subjects that are viewed as problematic. The concrete idea appearing in Religion, i.e., the doctrine of radical evil, is explained in the second and major unit. All the well-known issues related to Kant's philosophy are manifested in this doctrine. Despite the correlating character of these two units, the first one is primary absorbed in the first chapter of the thesis, which is designed as general excursion into issues. Content of the second unit is absorbed in other chapters, i.e., chapter on terminology, critical chapter and review. My pursuit is to contribute to the lively debate in relevant manner within the specified space of master's thesis.
