Certification of Products and Services in the Sphere of Tourism

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku certifikací v cestovním ruchu. Teoretická část práce se zabývá objasněním obecných pojmů z oblasti cestovního ruchu, certifikace, kvality a brand managementu. Dále popisuje současný stav řízení kvality a certifikace v cestovním ruchu v České republice. V praktické části práce jsou dle kritérií analyzovány vyhledané druhy značení. Dva certifikační systémy, Oficiální jednotná klasifikace ubytovacích zařízení České republiky a Ubytování v soukromí, jsou vybrány pro podrobnější výzkum, který se zaměřuje na praktické zkušenosti provozovatelů certifikovaných zařízení, zejména pak vnímané přínosy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of certification in tourism. The theoretical part defines general terms and explanations from the sphere of tourism, certification, quality and brand management. It also describes the actual way of tourism quality management and the use of certification in the Czech republic. In the practical part there are used special criteria to analyse labels that were found out. The practical part contains also the research of two certifications systems, The Official unified classification of accommodation facilities in the Czech republic and The accommodation in privacy. It focuses on hotelier's experience with certification especially with its benefits.
