Práce se zabývá původem staročeských názvů barev. V teoretické části práce je představeno možné nahlížení na barvy optikou různých věd, poté se zaměřuje na staré barvicí techniky a rostliny a v neposlední řadě lingvistický pohled na barvy. Abstract:
The thesis deals with origins of colour terms in Old Czech. In its theoretical part, it examines the way colours are perceived in different scientific fields. It goes on to show old dyeing techniques and plants used for this purpose, and presents the linguistic approach to colour terms.
