Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá detailní analýzou narativních kategorií postavy a vypravěče v románové tvorbě Jaroslava Rudiše. První část popisuje literárně teoretické metody, které jsou využity v konkrétních analýzách. Interpretace postavy je převážně založena na způsobu zobrazení postavy v textu podle Gérarda Genetta (přímá definice a nepřímá reprezentace). Kategorie vypravěče je zaměřena na rozsahu účasti v příběhu, stupeň vnímatelnosti a spolehlivosti. Závěrečná část shrnuje schematické postupy v konstrukci postavy a vypravěče a naopak zdůrazňuje jejich odlišnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the detailed analysis of narrative categories, such as the characters and the narrator in the novels by Jaroslav Rudiš. The first part describes literary-theoretical methods which are used in the analysis. The interpretation of the character is mostly based on the way the character is pictured in the discourse according to Gérard Genette’s theory (the direct description and indirect representation). The category of narrator is focused on the range of his participation in the story, the level of perceptibility and reliability. In the last part we summarize schematic ways of character’s and narrator’s constructions and emphasize their differences.
