Abstract:
Cílem této diplomové práce je srovnat literární a výtvarnou složku děl Williama Blakea a Josefa Váchala. Práce se zaměřuje na postavu ďábla a jeho mýtus, na jeho výtvarné zpracování a také na ďábla jako na postavu literární. Dále se práce zaměřuje na otázky víry a hereze, které byly pro oba autory zásadní a které se promítly do jejich děl.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to bring a comparison of works by William Blake and Josef Váchal. It focuses on the character of the Devil and its myth, on its visual processing and also on the Devil as a literary character. The thesis also deals with the question of faith and heresy which was fundamental for both the authors and which is reflected in their works.
