Abstract:

Práce se zabývá monitoringem výskytu a hnízdění ledňáčka říčního (Alcedo atthis) na řece Ohři v okrese Litoměřice. Cílem práce je nalézt lokality, kde se ledňáček vyskytuje a hnízdí, kolik vyvádí mláďat a jaký je průběh jednotlivých hnízdění. Dále je posuzována přítomnost stálých hnízdišť a dostupnost hnízdních příležitostí. Místem monitorování je úsek Ohře mezi Libochovicemi a Doksany. Způsobem dosažení uvedených cílů je studium odborné literatury, analýza závěrečných zpráv o monitoringu hnízdění a výskytu ledňáčka v okrese Litoměřice z let 2006 – 2013 zpracovaných ZO ČSOP Ciconia v Roudnici nad Labem a vlastní terénní výzkum v letech 2017 – 2019.V rámci této práce bylo zjištěno a zmapováno hnízdění ledňáčků v 8 lokalitách, přítomnost 1 stálého hnízdiště a konkrétní břehy s vhodnými hnízdními příležitostmi. Ledňáčci se v posledních letech více koncentrují do oblasti Přírodní rezervace Pístecký les, a to na úkor ostatních oblastí. Byly zjištěny nové poznatky v hnízdní biologii (např. delší hnízdní sezona a opakovaná hnízdění), které jsou využitelné pro lepší pochopení života ledňáčků a jejich efektivnější ochranu na vymezeném úseku Ohře. Z tohoto důvodu byly relevantní výsledky poskytnuty orgánům ochrany přírody v ČR.

Abstract:

This work deals with the monitoring of the occurrence and nesting of the Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) on the Ohře River in the district of Litoměřice. The aim of the thesis is to find the locality where the Kingfisher is found and nests, what is the number of the young and what is the course of the individual breeding. Furthermore, the presence of permanent nesting sites and the availability of nesting opportunities are assessed. The section of the Ohře River between Libochovice and Doksany was defined for monitoring. The study of professional literature and the analysis of final reports on nesting and presence of Kingfisher in Litoměřice district from 2006 to 2013, prepared by ČSOP Ciconia in Roudnice nad Labem were used to achieve these goals as well as own field research in the years 2017 – 2019.The nesting of Kingfishers in 8 localities, the presence of 1 permanent nesting site and specific banks with suitable nesting opportunities were detected and mapped in this work. In recent years Kingfishers have been more concentrated in the Pístecký les Nature Reserve at the expense of other areas. New findings in nesting biology (e. g. longer breeding season and repeated nesting) have been identified. These findings are useful for better understanding of the life of Kingfishers and for installing more effective rules of protection in the restricted section of the Ohře River. To implement these findings into practice, relevant results were provided to nature conservation authorities in the Czech Republic.
