Nursing Process in Care of a Patient with Urolithiasis

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce bylo seznámení s problematikou urolitiázy a zpracování ošetřovatelského procesu v péči o pacienta s urolitiázou. Závěrečná práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na celkový popis onemocnění, jako jsou rizikové faktory, příznaky, diagnostické postupy, možnosti léčby, komplikace a prevenci. V závěru teoretické části popisuji specifika ošetřovatelské péče v urologii. V praktické části jsem vytvořila ošetřovatelský proces u konkrétně vybraného pacienta. Celý ošetřovatelský proces byl zpracován podle NANDA - International taxonomie II, kdy jsem se v každé doméně zaměřila na potřeby vybraného pacienta a určila ošetřovatelské diagnózy. U každé diagnózy jsem vytvořila plán péče. Hlavním zdrojem informací pro zpracování praktické části byl samotný pacient, se kterým jsem vedla cíleny rozhovor, a jeho dokumentace. Vedlejším zdrojem informací pak byl zdravotnický personál a manželka pacienta. Praktická část popisuje i průběh hospitalizace, která z větší části byla na standartním urologickém oddělení a dva dny na multioborové jednotce intenzivní péče, kde pacient ležel po operačním zákroku.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor's thesis was familiarization with the problem of urolithiasis and elaboration of the nursing process in the care of a patient with urolithiasis. The final thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I focused on the overall description of this disease, such as risk factors, symptoms, diagnostic procedures, treatment options, complications and prevention. At the end of the theoretical part, I describe the specifics of nursing care in urology. In the practical part, I created a nursing process for a specifically selected patient. The entire nursing process was processed according to NANDA - International taxonomy II, when I focused on the needs of the selected patient in each domain and determined nursing diagnoses. I created a care plan for each diagnosis. The main source of information for processing the practical part was the patient himself, with whom I conducted a targeted interview, and his documentation. Secondary sources of information were the medical staff and the patient's wife. The practical part also describes the course of hospitalization, which for the most part was in the standard urology department, and two days in the multidisciplinary intensive care unit, where the patient was lying after surgery.
