Predložená diplomová práca sleduje dva ciele. Prvým z nich je priblížiť polytematický rozbor práva nemeckého sociológa Maxa Webera. Optikou právneho historika, ekonóma a sociológa je tak predstavené právo, najmä kontinentálne, na prelome devätnásteho a dvadsiateho storočia.
