Shifts in the paintings

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je tvořena cyklem obrazů na plátně. Cyklus je zaměřen na posun, a to jak na posun v samotných obrazech, tak i v celkové tvorbě. Orientace na posun, duplikování a překrývání vychází ze snahy postihnout v obrazech zrakovou vadu Diplopii. Zde dochází k rozcestí, kdy se snažím posun a pohyb vyjádřit přímo na plátně, téměř abstraktní formou nebo samotným působením obrazu na zrak diváka. Součástí praktického výkonu (cyklus maleb) je doprovodná teoretická část.

Abstract:

The thesis is consisted of the cycle of paintings on canvas. The cycle is focused on the shift.The shift in the paintings themselves and also shift in my overall work. Orientation on the shift, duplication and overlapping is based on desire to capture eye disorder called Diplopia in painting. I find myself on crossroad, where I am trying to catch the shift and the movement directly in the canvas, almost in abstract form or by effect of the painting on on viewer's eyes.The thesis also included theoretical part, which is only the accompanying character.
