Carl Sternheim and his play "The Underpants"
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the life and work of famous German playwright Carl Sternhein. The first part presents Carl Sternheim and his varied relation to expressionism. The second part is concerned with his famous comedy "Die Hose", This comedy is analyzed and then interpreted.
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá životem a dílem známého německého dramatika Carla Sternheima. V první části je představen Carl Sternheim a jeho rozmanitý vztah k expresionismu. Druhá část se věnuje jeho nejznámější komedii "Die Hose". Tato komedie je analyzována a posléze interpretována.
