Process improvement and digitalization of the recruitment process in a large industrial company using lean management

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá mapováním a optimalizací náborového procesu na Evergreen pozice v rámci velké výrobní firmy pomocí nástrojů lean office a v kontextu současných trendů digitalizace a nástupu umělé inteligence. V práci je použita metodika DMAIC pro zkoumání daného procesu náboru. K zaznamenání procesu náboru jsou na základě dat z osobních rozhovorů se zaměstnanci, stakeholdery daného procesu, použity nástroje SIPOC, voice of customer a CTQ. Samotný proces je pak zachycen pomocí VSM (value stream mappingu). Cílem práce jsou kromě zmapování procesu i dva návrhy zlepšení procesu, a to řešení bez digitalizace a s digitalizací, díky čemuž může podnik nejenom zefektivnit daný proces náboru, ale rovněž zjistit, jak velký vliv může mít digitalizace na zvýšení efektivity tohoto procesu. Poslední častí control se práce zachycuje pouze v teoretické rovině, která společnosti nabízí vodítko, jak dané zlepšení vyhodnotit a jak s daným procesem optimalizace obecně dále pracovat a používat jej nadále i k optimalizaci dalších náborových procesů.

Abstract:

The topic of this theses is mapping and optimization of the hiring process for evergreen positions within a large manufacturing company using the concepts of lean office and within the context of digitalization and emerging artificial intelligence. The theses leverage the DMAIC methodology on a given hiring process. Based on interviews with employees of the company, who are stakeholders of the process, the SIPOC, voice of customer and CTQ tools are used to map the process. Value stream mapping (VSM) is then used to capture the performance of the process. The goal of the theses is to provide two proposals on how to improve the process, one without digitalization and the other with digitalization. With this, the company can not only improve the process but also have a comparison of how much value does the digitalization brings into the given process. The Control part of the methodology is captured only theoretically to provide a guidance for the company on how to evaluate impact of the optimization as well as provide framework for optimizations of any other hiring processes
