Use of canistherapy for children with childish cerebral paralysis in the rehabilitation process

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím canisterapie u dětí s dětskou mozkovou obrnou. Canisterapie je druh terapie, který využívá pozitivního působení psa na zdraví člověka. Tato terapie příznivě působí na zdraví člověka, zejména na jeho psychický stav. Práce je rozdělena do dvou celků. První z nich, teoretická část, je rozčleněna na tři kapitoly. V teoretické části popisuji nejčastější příčiny vzniku dětské mozkové obrny, její formy a jednotlivé typy dětské mozkové obrny. V druhé kapitole se zabývám historickým vývojem canisterapie a tím, jaký by měl být canisterapeutický pes a jeho výběrem. Dále se práce věnuje popisu metod, současných cílů a forem canisterapie s využitím u dětí s dětskou mozkovou obrnou. V praktické části jsou uvedeny kasuistiky dětí s DMO. Výzkum prokázal, že canisterapie kladně působí na děti s tímto druhem postižení.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the use of canistherapy for children with childish cerebral paralysis. Canistherapy is a type of therapy which uses the positive effects of dogs on human being health. This therapy has a beneficial effect on human health especially on his mental health. This work is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part is divided into three chapters. Theoretical part describes the most frequent reasons of childish cerebral paralysis, forms of CCP and different types of childish cerebral paralysis. In the second chapter I deals with the history of canistherapy and what features should a canistherapy dog have and his se-lection. The work also covers the description of canistherapy methods, current targets and forms of canistherapy including their use in care of children with childish cerebral paralysis. Practical thesis part summarizes casuistics of children with CCP. The research showed that canistherapy positive effect on children with this type of disability.
