The importance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in the development of atherosclerosis
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zejména problematikou omega-3 a omega-6 polynenasycených mastných kyselin a jejich vlivem na rozvoj aterosklerózy. Práce popisuje možnosti stanovení mastných kyselin. Dále je podrobně popsán proces zánětlivé reakce a možnosti jeho ovlivnění při substituci mastných kyselin.
Abstract:
This thesis mainly deals with problems of omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids and their effect on the development of atherosclerosis. The work describes the possibilities of determination of fatty acids. It is also described the process of inflammation in detail and the possibility to influence of inflammation by the substitution of fatty acids.
