Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vězeňských knihoven a je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje vězeňství, vysvětluje základní pojmy penologie a penitenciaristiky, pojetí a účel trestu a program zacházení s vězni.
