Comparison of tools for creating web applications and web content

Abstract:

Tvorba webových aplikací, prezentací a obsahu se v současné době provádí velmi často pomocí specializovaných vývojových nástrojů. Ty umožňují vývoj webů bez hlubších znalostí programovacích a skriptovacích jazyků. Cílem práce je zvolit vhodné zástupce těchto nástrojů a pečlivě je porovnat a pokusit se vybrat ten nejpřívětivější. Pro dosažení bodového výstupu, jenž by prokázal, který webový editor disponuje nejlepšími funkcemi a kvalitním uživatelským rozhraním, byla potřeba stanovit si hodnotící kritéria, jimiž jsou: Uživatelská rozhraní, funkce a nástroje, výkon, rychlost a kompatibilita, ceník a podpora. Mimo tato kritéria jsou dále popsána zabezpečení jednotlivých editorů, popis hlavní stránky a procesu registrace. Výsledkem práce je graf poukazující bodové ohodnocení sečtené s průměrem hodnocení ostatních uživatelů a shrnutí veškerých kladů a záporů jednotlivých editorů, aby si každý čtenář mohl vytvořit svůj vlastní obraz o tom, který webový editor by vyhovoval právě jemu.

Abstract:

The creation of web applications, presentations and content is currently often done using specialized development tools. These tools enable website development without the deeper knowledge of programming and scripting languages. The aim of the work is to choose suitable representatives of these tools and carefully compare them while attempting to choose the most user-friendly one. To achieve a point-based output that would demonstrate which web editor has the best features and quality user interface, it was necessary to establish evaluation criteria, including: User interface, features and tools, performance, speed and compatibility, pricing, and support. In addition to these criteria, we further described the security of individual editors, the description of the main page, and the registration process. The result of this work is a graph regarding point evaluation summed with the average rating of other users and a summary of all the pros and cons of each editor, so that every reader can form their own opinion about which web editor would suit them best.
