Support of important banks in the financial crisis and their restructuring plan

Abstract:

Banks as the main component between the real economy and financial sector required both state and central bank support during the financial and economic crisis. Theoretical definition of various approaches to the crisis by means of selected indicators in the first chapter represents the platform for analyzing the impact of financial and economic crisis on management, decision-making and adoption of restructuring plan in selected commercial banks in the second chapter of the master’s thesis. Monitoring the central banks’ procedures and adopted remedial measures in the second chapter is followed by perspectives on banking regulations by the draft model regulation within the EU.

Abstract:

Banky ako hlavný článok medzi reálnou ekonomikou a finančným sektorom si v čase finančnej a hospodárskej krízy vynútili podporu či už od štátu alebo centrálnej banky. Teoretické vymedzenie rôznych pohľadov krízy cez vybrané ukazovatele v prvej kapitole predstavujú platformu pre analýzu dopadu finančnej a hospodárskej krízy na riadenie, rozhodovanie a prijatie reštrukturalizačného plánu vo vybraných komerčných bankách analyzovaných v druhej kapitole diplomovej práce. Na sledovanie postupov centrálnych bánk a prijaté ozdravné opatrenia z druhej kapitoly nadväzujeme perspektívami regulácie bankového sektora prostredníctvom vlastného návrhu modelu regulácie v rámci EÚ.
