This bachelor’s thesis examines, how Bronze Age settlements used water for their protection. It compares various European cultures and sites that are known for their use of water in fortification. Bakalárska práca skúma využitie vody na ochranu sídlisk doby bronzovej. Ponúka porovnanie európskych kultúr a lokalít, ktoré využívali vodu v opevnení. Tento fenomén nie je dokázaný na žiadnej českej ani slovenskej lokalite. Cieľom práce bolo analyzovať 3 lokality, na ktorých sa predpokladala prítomnosť vodných priekop.
