Fireproof surface coating

Abstract:

Cílem práce je porovnat a vyzkoušet funkčnost protipožárních nátěrových hmot, které mají sloužit jako ochrana před přímým působením ohně. Jedná se o ochranu materiálů pro výrobu nábytku, které jsou použity převážně v prostorech, kde může dojít ke vzniku požáru (restaurace, bary, veřejné interiéry), ale i v domácnostech v blízkosti zařízení, které produkují teplo. Účelem povrchové ochrany je zamezit šíření ohně, ochránit hořlavý podkladový materiál a současně redukovat množství vznikajícího kouře. Zkoušky budou provedeny podle ČSN EN 13501 – 1. Předmětem práce je i porovnat vzájemnou interakci podkladového materiálu a nátěrové hmoty vztaženou na celkovou požární odolnost a následně vyhodnotit nejnižší hmotnostní úbytky během působení plamene. Zbylé zkoušky se budou zabývat určením parametrů nátěrových hmot jako je přilnavost k povrchu, odolnost vůči střídaní teplot, aj.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to try and test the functionality of fire protection coatings, which are intended to protect against the direct effects of fire. This is the protection of furniture materials that are used predominantly in areas where fire can occur (restaurants, bars, public interiors), but also in the home near heat-generating devices. The purpose of surface protection is to prevent the spread of fire, to protect the flammable underlying material and to reduce the amount of smoke generated. The tests will be carried out according to ČSN EN 13501-1. The subject of the thesis is also to compare the mutual interaction of the substrate material and the paint composition with respect to the overall fire resistance and subsequently to evaluate the lowest weight loss during the flame action. The rest of the tests will deal with the determination of paints parameters such as adhesion to the surface, resistance to temperature changes, etc.
