Czech-Polish vocabulary in the field of hairdressing and cosmetic services

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je sestavení česko-polského slovníku základních pojmů z oblasti kadeřnictví a kosmetiky. Z důvodu přeshraniční návštěvnosti a obchodní spolupráce sousedních států České republiky a Polska je nezbytné vytvoření takového slovníku, který bude nápomocný při komunikaci v kosmetické a kadeřnické terminologii. Úvodní kapitola je zaměřena na základní informace z oblasti lexikologie, lexikografie, stavby a historie slovníků. Sestavení česko-polského slovníku je tematicky rozděleno do kapitol, které se skládají z teoretické a slovníkové části: vlasy a pokožka hlavy, ošetření vlasů a pokožky ? preparáty a pracovní nástroje; účesy, střihy a postupy při stříhání; trvalá ondulace, barvení a melír; kosmetika a líčení. Tato bakalářská práce, především její slovníková část, je pojata jako jazyková příručka pro dermatology, obchodní zástupce, osoby podnikající v oblasti kadeřnických a kosmetických služeb a v první řadě jako pomocný slovníček pro česky mluvící klientky navštěvující kadeřnické a kosmetické salony v Polsku.

Abstract:

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is a creation of a Czech-Polish dictionary of basic expressions in hairdressing and cosmetics. Due to the cross-border traffic and trade cooperation of neighboring countries Czech Republic and Poland, it is necessary to create such a dictionary that will be helpful in communicating in the beauty and hairdressing terminology. The introductory chapter focuses on the basic information regarding lexicology, lexicography, structure and history of dictionaries. Assembling of the Czech-Polish dictionary is thematically divided into chapters, which consist of a theoretical part and a dictionary one: the hair and scalp, hair and skin treatment preparations and working tools; hair styles, cuts and cutting procedures; permanent waving, coloring and highlights; cosmetics and makeup. This thesis, especially its dictionary part, has been designed as a language guide for dermatologists, sales representatives, people doing business in the field of hairdressing and beauty services, and primarily as an assistant dictionary for Czech-speaking clients who visit hairdressing and beauty salons in Poland.
