Practical Use of Applied Drama in Socially Disadvantaged Environment - Study of The Community Centre Stará Ľubovňa - Podsadek

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of education of children from socially challenged environment through applied drama. It showcases variety of methods of applied drama whose positive impact thesis reflects in its practical part. In this part the text works with the intensive educational session of applied drama carried out in a community center in Stará Ľubovňa. Using the examples of the particular activities it introduces the practical use of mentioned methods. The thesis holds a critical standpoint towards the activities, it evaluates their success as well as potential problems.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa venuje problematike vzdelávania detí zo sociálne znevýhodnené prostredia prostredníctvom dramatickej výchovy. Vytvára prehľad metód dramatickej výchovy, ktorých pozitívny dopad reflektuje v praktickej časti. V tej text pracuje s intenzívnym výukovým programom dramatickej výchovy uskutočneným v komunitnom centre v Starej Ľubovni. Na príkladoch jednotlivých aktivít predstavuje praktické využitie spomenutých metód. Kriticky sa stavia k ich prevedení a hodnotí úspešnosť ako aj potenciálne problémy.
