Abstract:

Testosteron se v průběhu života výrazně podílí na našem vývoji a chování. Hladiny testosteronu se odrážejí na vývoji skeletu a kosterního svalstva, a souběžně s tím vyšší hladiny vedou ke zvýšenému agresivnímu chování. Tato diplomová práce shrnuje teoretický základ dané problematiky spolu s aplikací v praktické část. Pracujeme se stanovenou hypotézou, kdy za předpokladu vyšších hladin testosteronu jsou jedinci agresivnější a při tom mají větší sílu stisku ruky a výraznější obličejové proporce. Zpracovávaný soubor je rozdělen na skupinu kontrolní a skupinu výběrovou. Cílem práce bylo otestovat tento vztah za využití pokročilých technologií, tedy digitalizace obličeje a práce v trojrozměrném prostředí. Výsledky ukázaly vzájemnou korelaci mezi sílou stisku ruky a agresivním chováním. Mezi obličejem a agresivitou vztah prokázán nebyl. Kromě toho nebyly nalezeny žádné statisticky významné odlišnosti u všech proměnných mezi skupinou kontrolní a výběrovou. Studie byla doplněna o tvarovou analýzu pro prezentaci tvarových rozdílností mezi jednotlivci a poté i mezi soubory skupin.

Abstract:

Testosterone significantly contributes to our development and behavior, throughout life. Testosterone levels are reflected on the development of the skeleton and skeletal muscle, higher levels lead to higher aggressive behavior in paralel. This diploma thesis summarizes the theoretical basis of the topic with application in the practical part. We work with established hypothesis, when the assumed higher levels of testosterone lead to more aggressive subjects who have greater hand grip strength and pronounced facial proportions. The study sample is divided into a control group and selection group. The aim of this thesis was to these relationships using advanced methods – digitizing of facial characteristics and 3D analysis. Results showed correlation between the hand grip strength and aggressive behavior. Relationship between the face and the aggressiveness were not not confirmed. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in all variables between the control group and the selected group. Shape analysis was included in the study to present shape differences between individuals and then between group files.
