Analysis and design of data-centric applications in VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis and design of data-centric applications in VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011. First chapter focuses on the definition of basic concepts related to the issue of data-centric applications, the implementation of data-centric applications in a development environment MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 in terms of architecture, life cycle and characteristics of applications. In the last section of this chapter are mentioned the possibility of using data-centric applications in the organizations information systems. The second chapter analyzes the possibility of using VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 in developing data-centric applications on the SharePoint 2010 platform. Analysis aims to describe the development environment MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 and the SharePoint 2010 platform. Conclusion of this chapter describes how to use data-centric applications built in a development environment MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 for SharePoint 2010 platform. Third chapter deals with the design of data-centric applications by defining roles and identifying requirements for application, but using UML CASE tool to design the model application. The fourth chapter deals with the development of data-centric applications in a development environment MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 for SharePoint Server 2010 platform, and creating lists of SharePoint 2010, creating the very data-centric application itself, and finally testing the application in terms of modifications to the lists of SharePoint 2010 and the Northwind database located on the database machine MS SQLServer 2008 Express.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou a návrhom datacentrických aplikácií vo VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na vymedzenie základných pojmov súvisiacich s problematikou datacentrických aplikácií, implementáciu datacentrických aplikácií vo vývojovom prostredí MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 z pohľadu architektúry, životného cyklu a charakteristiky aplikácie. V poslednej časti tejto kapitoly sú spomenuté možnosti využitia datacentrických aplikácií v podnikových informačných systémoch. Druhá kapitola analyzuje možnosť využitia VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 pri vývoji datacentrických aplikácií pre platformu Sharepoint 2010. Analýza je zameraná na opis vývojového prostredia MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 a platformy Sharepoint 2010. Záver druhej kapitoly popisuje možnosti využitia datacentrických aplikácií vytvorených vo vývojovom prostredí MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 pre platformu Sharepoint 2010. Tretia kapitola sa zaoberá návrhom datacentrickej aplikácie, a to definovaním rolí a identifikáciou požiadaviek na aplikáciu, ale aj využitím UML a CASE nástroja pri návrhu modelu aplikácie. Štvrtá kapitola sa zaoberá vývojom datacentrickej aplikácie vo vývojovom prostredí MS VisualStudio Lightswitch 2011 pre platformu Sharepoint Server 2010, a to vytvorením zoznamov platformy Sharepoint 2010, tvorbou samotnej datacentrickej aplikácie a nakoniec testovaním aplikácie z hľadiska modifikácie zoznamov platformy Sharepoint 2010 a databázy Northwind nachádzajúcej sa na databázovom stroji MS SQLServer 2008 Express.
