The Church of the Augsburg confession in Eastern Silesia in 1923-1948.

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na Slezskou evangelickou církev augšpurského vyznání v letech 1923 až 1948. První kapitola je zaměřena na úvod do samotné problematiky a zhodnocení použitých zdrojů. V druhé kapitole je práce zaměřena na dějiny luteránství ve Slezsku s důrazem na Těšínské Slezsko. Třetí kapitola zkoumá počátky církve, národnostní problémy v ní a její osudy během polského a německého záboru v letech 1938 a 1939. V práci jsou také ve čtvrté kapitole zaznamenány osudy jednotlivých sborů církve ve vymezeném období a jejich jednotlivý vývoj. V poslední kapitole je práce zaměřena na rozdělení a současnost církve. Na závěr je práce doplněna fotkami spjatými s dějinami církve.

Abstract:

The work focuses on the Silesian Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession between 1923 and 1948. The first chapter in an intruduction to the issue itself and an evalution of the sources used. In the second chapter, the thesis focuses on the history of Lutheranism in Silesia with an emphasis on Silesia in Těšín. The third chapter examines the origins of the church, the national problems within it, and its fate during the Polish and German annexations of 1938 and 1939. The fourth chapter also records the fate of the individual congregations of the church in the defined period and their individual development. In the last chapter the thesis focuses on the division and the present of the church. Finally, the work id supplemented with photos related to the history of the church.
