Ethical education, in Germany Textbooks of Ethikunterricht – Incentives for Czech teachers

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá předmětem a učebnicemi Etická výchova v Německu. Zkoumá vznik a vývoj předmětu, koncepty v různých spolkových zemích a srovnává vzdělávací plány předmětu v Sasku a v Bavorsku. Ve druhé části práce analyzuje německé učebnice Etické výchovy. Učebnice jsou zkoumány ze čtyř hledisek: z hlediska výukových témat, z hlediska výukových metod, z hlediska zaměření na rozvoj klíčových kompetencí a z hlediska využití filmové projekce. Práce si chce všímat zajímavých podnětů v německých učebnicích Etické výchovy, které mohou využít čeští učitelé filozofie, etiky, religionistiky nebo jiných společenských věd na českých školách. Práce odpovídá na otázky: Co je obsahem předmětu Etická výchova v Německu a jaké jsou jeho didaktické koncepty? Co obsahují německé učebnice Etiky? Jaké podněty nabízejí tyto učebnice českým učitelům? Práce je zamýšlena jako příspěvek k debatě o dalším směřování etické výchovy v Česku a zároveň jako příspěvek srovnávací pedagogiky.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on analysis of a German school subject Ethical Education and the coursebooks for this subject. It is studying the genesis and development of the course, and it examines the differences in didactic concepts amongst different federal republics. It compares Saxony´s and Bavaria´s educational plans. Second part of the thesis is focused on the coursebooks for this subject across Germany. The coursebooks are being examined from four different angles: the angle of topics, the angle of methods used, the angle of development of key competences and the use of film projections. The thesis picks on interesting stimuli in the German coursebooks that can be adopted by the czech teachers of philosophy, ethis, religious studies or other social sciences in Czech schools. The thesis answers following questions: What is the content of the course Ethical education in Germany and what are it´s main didactic concepts? What is the content of the coursebooks, dedicated to this course? How can those coursebooks be an inspiration to the czech educators? The thesis is designed as a contribution to the debate about the further development of the ethical education in Czechia and in the same time it is a contribution to the cmoparative pedagogy.
