Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je teorie fikce a možných světů v kontextu výtvarného umění. Hlavním cílem textu je zjistit, zda je koncept fikčních a možných světů aplikovatelný na oblast výtvarných uměleckých děl. Text je rozdělen na dva oddíly. Východisko práce tvoří především texty literární teorie na téma fikce a možných světů, přičemž hlavní pole problémů prvního oddílu práce představuje specifické pojmosloví využívané v dané oblasti zkoumání, původně vzešlé z logické terminologie a dále pozměněné interdisciplinární výměnou. Mezi hlavní řešená témata patří pojem možných světů, pojem fikčních světů a pojem aktuálního světa. Dále jsou zde kladeny otázky o základních vlastnostech fikčních světů jejich neúplnosti, pravdivosti, autonomii a naraci. V druhém oddíle je řešen problém vztahu skutečnosti a výtvarných uměleckých děl, ze kterého je následně vyvozováno, zda daná díla konstruují fikční světy a pokud ano, pak jaké mají tato univerza a jejich manifestace vlastnosti. Blíže se v textu zabýváme realistickým a abstraktním uměním, dále sakrálním uměním a v neposlední řadě technickým obrazem. Tyto oblasti výtvarné umělecké tvorby pokládáme za zajímavé právě proto, že představují pro teorii fikce a možných světů, z různých důvodů blíže popsaných v textu, určitou výzvu.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is the theory of fiction and possible worlds in the context of visual arts. The main purpose of the essay is to find out whether or not the concept of fictional worlds and possible worlds is applicable in the area of visual arts. The text is divided into two sections. The basis of the thesis are primarily texts of literary theory about fiction and possible worlds, and the main focus in the first section of the thesis highlights specific terms used in the area of research originally coming from logic terminology and further changed by interdisciplinary substitution. The concept of possible worlds and fictional worlds, compared to the actual world is discussed in detail. There are also questions about the basic characteristics of fictional worlds and whether or not they present complete ideas of how such a world might appear. In the second section, is discussed the problem of reality in the field of visual arts from which it is deduced that, if the visual arts construct fictional worlds, that which characteristics would such a universe might have. There is closer focus on realistic and, conversely, abstract art and sacred art in the essay and we present a technical picture as well. We view these areas of visual art quite interesting because they, for many reasons described in the text, present several specific challenges for the theory of fiction and possible worlds.
